For after school or before hockey practice, these mini Smoked Salmon bites make the perfect snack or appetizer. And nothing goes better with fish than lemon and garlic, which is why this recipe uses two of our most popular products; Garlic Infused Olive Oil and Lemon White Balsamic. Simply spread your herb-flavoured cream cheese onto a bagel, drizzle with the oil and balsamic, and you're good to go.
Ingredients
1 small pack Smoked Salmon
½ cup cream cheese
1 tbsp fresh dill
1 tsp fresh chive
1 tsp lemon zest
1 tsp capers
3 mini bagels
-
1 tbsp Aurelius Garlic Infused Olive Oil
-
1 tbsp Aurelius Lemon White Balsamic Vinegar
Directions
Allow the cream cheese to sit at room temperature for a while to soften. Finely chop fresh chive and dill.
Add the herbs & lemon zest to the softened cream cheese and mix.
Cut the mini bagels across the center and separate the sides. Spread a teaspoon of the flavoured cream cheese on each half bagel, layer the smoked salmon on top, and garnish with a few capers.
Finally, drizzle some garlic olive oil and lemon white balsamic vinegar on top to finish it off.
Recipe Note
These mini smoked salmon bites are guaranteed showstoppers at any breakfast, brunch, or high tea you throw!
Couldn’t find mini bagels, so sliced baguette had to do. Really good, and will definitely make again!
