MY STORY

I started Aurelius Fine Oils & Balsamic Vinegars while still serving in the military as an answer to my uncle's question during a family dinner in Italy in 2016: Would Canadians be interested in REAL olive oil?

I decided I was going to find out. For the next 2 years, I would set up my small table at bakeries and local markets on weekends. After getting out there and networking, I was lucky enough to start selling to a few top restaurants here in Ottawa (Riviera, e18hteen, North & Navy). Then in 2018, I decided to leave the military and open my retail brick-and-mortar tasting boutique in Wellington West, Ottawa.

In April 2025, we grew to three locations when we acquired The Unrefined Olive's Kanata and Glebe stores. We're honoured to carry on what they started, and excited for what the future holds as we welcome guests across Wellington West, Kanata, and Glebe.

Since then, our authentic, small-batch and artisanal products have garnered a strong reputation amongst our fans. We also offer an amazing quantity of flavoured olive oils and balsamic vinegars which will surely keep you coming back for more.

We strive to provide you with the Aurelius experience and turn you from a customer to a fan.
